The Shabby Tea Room ~ Week 29

This week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room is "pastels and pearls", inspired by a beautiful photo. I decided to "try" to catch up on some scrap booking, hence my pastel and pearl page. This photo is of my baby, Gianna, from last Christmas. She's now 18 months old. I love her expression in this pic - yes, she's still that silly - all the time! :)
Those adorable snowmen stamps are compliments of our sponsor this week, Just Rite Stampers. Love their products!! I have a "thing" for snowmen, so I HAD to have this set!

Prayers for Ryan & Steph...

Today begins, what will undoubtedly be, a rough 7 months. My brother, Ryan, is leaving Germany today to begin a 30 day training program here in the states, and will then head over to Afghanistan for 6 months. He is a Sr Staff Sargent and fire fighter in the US Air Force. My sister in law, Steph, will stay in Germany for the next 7 months, anxiously awaiting his return. I have, and will continue to, shed many tears and say many prayers for Ryan's safe return and for strength for Steph. I'm asking for prayers and warm wishes for Ryan and Steph as they both tackle tough times ahead. My heart breaks for them both.
