The Shabby Tea Room ~ Week 42

This week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room is "Shabby Chic Baby", inspired by a beautiful nursery photo. It's difficult for me to do anything but clean and simple, but here's my try with shabby chic. I used the polka dots on the wastebasket for the inspiration for my background. The vintage seam binding adds the perfect shabbiness to this baby card.
The image, Primitive Bear, is from I Did It Creations, our sponsor this week.

Christmas Card 2010

Here is my Christmas card for 2010. I always like to include a photo of my 2 precious children. I saw THIS last year, and just knew that I had to make that style of card for my Christmas cards. I made 64 of them. It was time consuming. I included my 2 most dreaded things to do in card-making - tying bows and cutting with scissors. That gingerbread man is lucky he's so cute!! :) This might be one of my favorite Christmas cards to date. Now I need to look ahead and raise the bar for next year's card. I should start in June! :)
RECIPE:
STAMPS: PTI Holiday Button Bits, Best Yet
INK: Old Olive, Creamy Caramel
PAPER: VV, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
OTHER: Swiss Dots EF, VV Seam Binding, Rectangle Nesties, PTI Buttons

Huge Card Order...

My sister-in-law placed another large card order. She ordered 450 holiday cards and 200 birthday cards, to give to her clients. Needless to say, they needed to be simple and easy to mass produce. The holiday card uses a background snowflake stamp from Hero Arts. The sentiment is from JRS - Christmas Nested Sentiments. The birthday cards use SU's large oval punch and Perfect Punches stamp set, as well as 2 different CB embossing folders.

Some more random cards...

Here are a few more cards that I made for my parents, as part of their Christmas gifts. Made 4 of each. The top one is a simple anniversary card. The second one is so much prettier IRL. Pink Pirouette with Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon. The third card is based off a sketch from OWH Stars and Stamps from a while ago.
