The Shabby Tea Room - Week #10

Good Monday to you! Here is my card for this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room. This week's challenge is a photo inspiration of the American flag. I decided to interpret this challenge pretty literally. I kept it very clean and simple, to let the card speak for itself. The yellow ribbon is in support for our troops. My one and only brother is a Firefighter in the US Air Force, and is currently stationed in Germany with his wife. They left 15 months ago, and will be there for at least another 2.5 years. I miss them both so much. Needless to say, the American flag flies proudly at our home every day.
Every chance I get, I support my favorite organization, Operation Write Home. They send handmade cards to troops overseas, so that the troops can keep in touch with their friends and family back here in the US. If you have any extra handmade cards sitting around, please consider helping such a wonderful cause.

RECIPE:
STAMPS: Ribbon of Hope
INK: Summer Sun
PAPER: WW, Real Red, Not Quite Navy
OTHER: Rectangle and Square Nesties, Cuttlebug Stars and Stripes EF
